    i totally agree that tougher laws are needed to get rid of the sleaze in joo chiat. turn joo chiat around to its old charm like before. i was born in koon seng road 58 years ago and brought up in joo chiat for a good part of my life. those days we did not have all the sleazy bars. it was a peaceful and charming place. my old folks are still living in koon seng rd and nowadays they have to worry about the sleazy people moving around that area.
